Blog: FAIL

Last time I posted the days were warm and the nights were chilly; about the same as now except that an entire summer has passed. We’re headed back into the very territory that resulted in this blog: Winter. I wish that I could say I spent the summer on sabbatical in India, or at the very least in the middle of some super-steamy secret love affair. Neither is the case, though I should probably be very grateful for that on that second option. I guess I just ran out of words. But guess what?

I’m back.

Git ‘er Done!

My business cards arrived today. Prominently displayed are the words, The Beauty Of The Blog. I guess I’d better start making something of this if I’m going to advertise it. A couple of weeks or so ago, I decided I’d try blogging about the Des Moines Experience. I proposed a once-a-week experience that is either free or reasonably priced, since the reason for the very creation of this blog is that fact that I’m unemployed. I haven’t been delivering, and I will continue to struggle with writer’s block if I don’t find something to write about. The black-and-white television picture look of Iowa in December doesn’t exactly motivate me to seek a reason to leave the comfort of my home, but it’s time to get busy.
